QUALITY CONTROL
QUALITY BUILT INTO EVERY DRILL BIT
From raw material selection to final inspection, Kaining Tools applies quality control throughout the manufacturing process to maintain consistent dimensions, cutting performance, durability, and product reliability.
OUR APPROACH TO QUALITY CONTROL
Quality control is integrated into every stage of our drilling tool manufacturing process. Raw materials, machining accuracy, cutting geometry, heat treatment, surface condition, and finished-product quality are checked according to product specifications and customer requirements.

RAW MATERIAL CONTROL
Selected HSS and alloy materials are checked according to product specifications before production. Material selection directly affects hardness, toughness, wear resistance, heat resistance, and drilling performance.

IN-PROCESS QUALITY CONTROL
DIMENSIONAL CONTROL
Key dimensions are checked during production to help maintain consistent drill diameter, length, shank dimensions, and product specifications.
CUTTING GEOMETRY
Drill points, cutting edges, flutes, and other cutting geometries are inspected to support stable drilling performance and accurate hole creation.
PRECISION GRINDING
Grinding accuracy is controlled to maintain consistent cutting-edge quality, flute geometry, and drilling performance.
PROCESS CONSISTENCY
Production processes are monitored to reduce dimensional variation and maintain stable quality across different production batches.
HEAT TREATMENT CONTROL
Heat treatment is an important stage in drilling tool production. Controlled heat-treatment processes help improve hardness, strength, wear resistance, and service life while maintaining reliable cutting performance.
FINAL INSPECTION BEFORE DELIVERY
Finished drill bits are inspected before packaging and delivery to ensure that dimensions, cutting geometry, surface quality, and overall workmanship meet confirmed product requirements.
PACKAGING & DELIVERY CONTROL
Finished drill bits are carefully packaged after final inspection to prevent damage during transportation. Packaging methods, product labeling, and shipment preparation are controlled according to customer requirements to ensure safe delivery and consistent product condition.
